i am.... HIRED!!!

haha! yes yes yes!!! it's true. today was my second day at work ok. working in an office now, so have to dress like a working lady. =) it's kinda strange cos i not really tht kinda person -> chic,sassy,sophisticated,glamourous yadda yadda yadda... i'm more like this kinda person ->clumsy,noisy,cheerful,easy distracted,blur,casual

anyway, it's been enjoyable. the first day, all i did was to read and read and read about the company. gaining background knowledge. i tell u, being stuck to that chair n having nth else to do but to real annual reports make me queasy and bored. i'll look around, stare outside the window, go to the toilet, doodle on my notebook after trying to concentrate on reading for a while. i do read, but what goes in is another matter. =P okok. i do remember basic facts but not the nitty-gritty details. the working environment is nice, people are really friendly =) i made friends! despite age difference and all (there are pple around the age group u know. erm 16-25?)

today, the morning was spent reading again and settling admin stuff. i've got a notebook and an account, and a temp pass! yay!!!
lunch was truly fun cos chenxi, shenyang n i talked about embarrasing, fun exciting stuff that happened to us. i mainly talked about sec school life n e crazy stuff we do in sec school. i realised how much i missed sec school life. all the fun stuff tht happened within those four years. i'm working while my friends are in school. it feels kinda weird. but even though we're all going our own ways, we still meet up now and then, and we're simple bonded by something special. special enough to keep us together despite our distance apart.
chenxi treated us to drinks cos he's got his pay. mine will be a long long way away.

after lunch, when i thought i would have to sit n read again, i finally got a task!!! yay!!! photocopy some papers and help arrange copies of folders n their documents for the press meeting which was later. wow. it was like everyone in the department was busy. it was exciting in a weird way cos everyone was at the tip of their toes, rushing here, rushing there to get 80 folders of documents ready by the conference. poor cheryl got a paper cut. she's really nice. she's helped me out alot cos i don't know so much. =)

i think i'm starting to get used to work. wake up early in the morning, paying adult transport fees (darn it), taking the train so often. yup. hopefully, tml will be an interesting day as well. =)

PS* before i end my post, Joanne wants me to credit her for buying the acrylic paints which i mentioned in the synopsis. "precious box of acrylics" yup. that one. chew, happy? i wrote bout u! =) the box of paints were my christmas present n she spent alot of money as well as time to get it. so thanks so so very much. i appreciate it alot. i can't bear to use it. ahah.

bleach has been on pause for today. but it SHALL CONTINUE SOON!!! muahahahaha.
