a beautiful sunday

there's nothing much to do in the office now, so i think i'll just blog. tsk tsk. i'm so naughty. aiya.

yesterday was so so so amazing. i mean performing for a crowd of 1000+ spectators is truly memorable. =)

yesterday was consort's concert at the esplanade concert hall. (too bad i can't load photos yet. when i have, i'll show u how it feels to perform there)

reached there at 1.30 for practice, sound test the hall. it's kinda scary cos u can't really hear each other. u can but vaguely. i almost got lost there. luckily i found mui hia who brought me to the altos changing room. if not i'll continue roaming around till after the concert. -_-

back to the main point. we exchanged good luck gifts. haha. actually, only michelle n i brought stuff for everyone. michelle got us these really cute pencil with a wooden doll attached to the top of the pencil. i got everyone pegs with lollies tht i made out of my jumpy clay. =) it fits our theme : childhood?

during rehearsal, i used the pencil to make a bun with my hair. erm. do u know what i mean. as in u twist ur hair using the pencil n stick it in the make ur hair stay like a bun shape. adrian said it reminded him of chae gyung from goong cos she sticks pencils in her hair in a similar way. haha

then we went for dinner? more like tea. michelle was busy so she couldn't join us. so we went to hoki boshi to eat. yumm. we were very guai. no crispy or spicy stuff. (sadness. i wanted to eat the softshell crab roll ='( boohoo.)the stuff there quite ex, so i decided to only eat what i could afford, which was sushi. grab n eat from the rotating conveyor belt. sherlyn n i shared a bowl of chawanmushi. waa. oishi! (isn't tht what jap pple say everytime they eat sth nice?)

huili,huijun,huiyin n sherlyn all had half a bowl of udon noodles except huili who had a whole bowl. i ate my sushi.

there was this slice of cheese cake tht was rotating around the conveyor belt. it was so tempting. i wanted to eat it but i thought it was $5++. so huili asked the waitress who told us it was $1.90. so i grabbed n ate it. haha. huiyin wanted to eat mochi. haha it was tempting her. but she didn't eventually.

when we wanted to pay for our food, huili decided to be very magnanimous n nice, so she treated all of us. WAAAA. haha. our SL's so nice. =) too bad michelle didn't eat with us. huiyin was like "aiya, u never say u wanted to treat. i would have eaten that mochi."

CONCERT

erm. the first part was not very good... cos we kinda went sharp for ave maria. but we redeemed ourselves with te deum. the second half was very fun n very good. =)
surprisingly, the fei xiang song was very good. aiya. crowd pleaser with all the funny actions.

the childhood lyrics part, i was very worried i would like trip n fall before standing up for my cue at the "saturday's child" part. michelle n i have bruises on our knees cos of the matthew, mark, luke n john song. we have to kneel for tht part. it was very awkward. haha. luckily i got gallop right!! finally n most importantly! ha! sing a song of six pence was very jovial.

for the last 2 songs, distant lant n the music's always there, i thought it was moving. i think i mr kwei almost cried. =S but they were very emotional, so ya. =') what a beautiful concert.

during the concert, there were some jokers who clapped at the wrong time la! it was rather annoying. oh well.

glenn admires adyll. haha. he likes his voice. (adyll sang solo for O Ina Ni Keke)

erm. thanks to huiyin, i'm now ru fei. =S sherlyn's bao chan. haha. my nu bi doesn't give me any respect lor. -__-
