pi-em-sing

hai... feeling very down n it's not cos i wanna. i can't help it.my stomach aches, my back aches. everywhere aches... i just failed my first major task cosi'm not capable enough. that sounds so sad. what about i tried attempting the impossible without knowing my own limitations.ya.. bu zi liang li.
i'm typing on notepad to pretend to be hardworking. there's nth to do again for now.tml, there will be sth to do again. i feel like going to home to sleep. i wanna rest. i dun wanna eat (maybe just yet, super full),i feel crappy. bahh. if slacking is illegal, shoot me.
darn. i hate these 'emo' times. ewww. gross me out. can u imagine. i laugh at those super emo pple, n now i'm kinda no different from them.actually, come to think about it, i have always been kinda emo. no? like a drama queen? not like joanne or dorea though. i'm like not in their league when it comes to drama-mamas.
i think this is a good cover up for blogging. haha. no one seems to know what i'm doing. muahahaha. it's really more like self talk. but it makes me feel alot better.
maybe why i've been blogging more is
1)free time2)the need to talk to someone bout everything and anything. (where's quek? where's chew? where's peng? sadness overwhelms me)
i was kinda looking forward to having dinner with cheryl and sam today, but cheryl couldn't make it, n somewhere down the day, i just didn't feel like it either.
one thing's for sure, i don't really think i would like a desk-bound job in the future.the world is your stage! why would you want to coop yourself up like a hermit? i wanna see more of the world, learn more about everything and anything around me, meet more pple and befriend them, experience more adventures that would help me grow. i have only lived 16 years, i have so much more to come across. so long more to live if God permits.
although i still don't know what i want to do. i shall explore it slowly. =) 'i cast all my cares upon You' please help me make the right choices in my life.
i fear much, but the strength of my courage is more than that of my fear. so i'll try my best in whatever i do.
AJA AJA!!!! GANBATTE!!!!
now i feel better. =) typing everything out does help. my stomach n my back still hurts, but i feel numb to it. btw, i had to shift place today.. from my usual small round table desk to sharing desk with andrew. well, at least he's really nice. now i sit between him n roy.
as i peek out of the window and look at the beautiful ocean and the beach, i feel so happy. i wanna be there. lying on the sad, letting waves brush past me. listening to children laugh and giggle. feel the sand squished between my toes.
almost exposeD!!!
why do pple find it weird tht pple talk to themselves?isn't it quite normal? it helps easy stress! so tht's good. =)
what should i do now? continue talking about nothing?
i don't want to grow up so fast, yet i think "wouldn't it be nice if i was older"
i miss my friends, i miss my peng. i kinda miss school. recess, hw, slacking in class.i miss 4c, i miss tk, i miss choir, i miss consort, i miss my aunties n unclesi miss being a secondary 4 student, i miss my teachers, i miss dancingi miss having nth to do at home but to watch tv, i miss my bed, i miss my couchi miss the tv remote control, i miss watching disney channel, i miss watching HBO, i miss watching AXNi miss watching korean dramas until late at night, i miss lying next to my mommy n she making a cup of warm milk before we go sleep,i miss watching my girl with peng until crazy times, i miss crushing on junki while my sis crushed on gong chan,i miss watching bleach episode after epsiode till i finished all the way to 100, i miss so many things in my life.i miss being noisy, i miss screaming and laughing out loud, i miss bear hugs.i miss i miss i miss. i miss miss roo.

sth to ponder about

office is chaos. everyone's rushing like crazy. super busy. wanted to type sth just now but cos i was given sth to do, so now i shall type sth short.

office has not been more busy, i've got more stuff to do now. guess what they said was true. after first week or so, u'll have increasing no. of things to do.

yesterday on the way home, listening to the radio, a successful business lady was being interview as she shared her ambitions. she said she did "not want to be a legendary working female", but she had great ambitions. she "wanted to be her own boss, start her own company" she said she had had that ambition since young, and although she had changed job paths in her late twenties, early thirties, it did not matter for as long as she continued working hard, she managed to be where she was today; she owns quite a huge company, holds an NBA etc and has a busy, "satisfying busy" life. she's kinda hip too with latest gadgets and stuff.

she published her own book on the only female emperor of China, Wu Ze Tian who was cruel, vicious, power hungry and all, but you gotta give it to her for being the only female to rule China as the emperor. she was the one who challenged confucian beliefs against the rule of women and helped to elevate the position of women! She said that the ideal ruler was one who ruled like a mother does over her children. at least she was fair to peasants, lowering their taxes, raising agricultural production, and strengthening public works.

she(the lady over the radio) also gave advice to young people out there, "never rush your life, take your time to build your career, hence eventually obtaining your success."

when listening to her interview, i kept thinking about my own ambitions. somehow, i couldn't really find any. i felt as though i have been living, and still am living a day at a time. sorta like happy-go-lucky la. i enjoy what i'm given and i already have more than my share. however, i can't help but to admire pple with really big dreams; to own your own country? be as rich as bill gates? become a rock star legend? or maybe even more down to earth dreams... well.. like getting married to a real prince? haha... no la... just kidding... more like, turning into a millionaire overnight... haha... or having magical powers cos of an accidental spill in chemical x or maybe cos of an accidental fall into a huge vat of toxic waste... perhaps, waking up and finding that you're actually adopted and you are actually some bigshot's love-child. *erm. i wouldn't want tht*

okok. more realistic stuff.. like owning your own business. inventing sth tht would propel s'pore into the world's technology market. be a famous doctor. being a fashion designer with her own line of clothing. being an internationally known singer. holding your own art exhibition someday.

those are wonderful dreams. i really don't really know what i want. my so called dream is more about being able to be happy working in the future (as in doing sth i like and enjoy), having a nice guy for a husband, have a peaceful-jovial family, still have my wonderful friends and an even larger social circle, living peacefully... hmm. it sounds so ideal.

i hope to do sth tht would make a big impact (in a good way) by 50. i have no idea what yet. and for now, i hope i'll do very very well for my 'O's (keeping fingers crossed) so i can go where ever i want to and not let pple down, including myself.

right now, at a mere age of 16, i think i have achieved alot more than i ever thought i would. i sang in public (with the 4c band!!!), performed in the esplanade concert hall-victoria concert hall-competing in competitions overseas etc (not as some miscellaneous person like pretending to be a tree), working in a large business organisation, winning an online design contest (it was really my family n friend's work. w/o their support, i wouldn't win anything), getting the eagles award, being able to learn a third language. i can't recall anything else. i think it pretty much covers everything.

this post is quite not meaningful, it's my self thoughts. haha.

ohh.. look what i drew today for fun with what else but paint! in the morning, my notebook crashed on me!!! so while it was getting fixed by the super nice IT technician, i was reading roy's s'pore art council annual reports. it was rather interesting. =) i like the arts.

in case any of my colleagues see this (weird to call them colleagues, i almost feel old)
you are all very nice people. =) ok? thanks for everything.

in the still of the night... sayonara. gng for korean class now!

a beautiful sunday

there's nothing much to do in the office now, so i think i'll just blog. tsk tsk. i'm so naughty. aiya.

yesterday was so so so amazing. i mean performing for a crowd of 1000+ spectators is truly memorable. =)

yesterday was consort's concert at the esplanade concert hall. (too bad i can't load photos yet. when i have, i'll show u how it feels to perform there)

reached there at 1.30 for practice, sound test the hall. it's kinda scary cos u can't really hear each other. u can but vaguely. i almost got lost there. luckily i found mui hia who brought me to the altos changing room. if not i'll continue roaming around till after the concert. -_-

back to the main point. we exchanged good luck gifts. haha. actually, only michelle n i brought stuff for everyone. michelle got us these really cute pencil with a wooden doll attached to the top of the pencil. i got everyone pegs with lollies tht i made out of my jumpy clay. =) it fits our theme : childhood?

during rehearsal, i used the pencil to make a bun with my hair. erm. do u know what i mean. as in u twist ur hair using the pencil n stick it in the make ur hair stay like a bun shape. adrian said it reminded him of chae gyung from goong cos she sticks pencils in her hair in a similar way. haha

then we went for dinner? more like tea. michelle was busy so she couldn't join us. so we went to hoki boshi to eat. yumm. we were very guai. no crispy or spicy stuff. (sadness. i wanted to eat the softshell crab roll ='( boohoo.)the stuff there quite ex, so i decided to only eat what i could afford, which was sushi. grab n eat from the rotating conveyor belt. sherlyn n i shared a bowl of chawanmushi. waa. oishi! (isn't tht what jap pple say everytime they eat sth nice?)

huili, huijun, huiyin n sherlyn all had half a bowl of udon noodles except huili who had a whole bowl. i ate my sushi.

there was this slice of cheese cake tht was rotating around the conveyor belt. it was so tempting. i wanted to eat it but i thought it was $5++. so huili asked the waitress who told us it was $1.90. so i grabbed n ate it. haha. huiyin wanted to eat mochi. haha it was tempting her. but she didn't eventually.

when we wanted to pay for our food, huili decided to be very magnanimous n nice, so she treated all of us. WAAAA. haha. our SL's so nice. =) too bad michelle didn't eat with us. huiyin was like "aiya, u never say u wanted to treat. i would have eaten that mochi."

--------------------------------
CONCERT

erm. the first part was not very good... cos we kinda went sharp for ave maria. but we redeemed ourselves with te deum. the second half was very fun n very good. =)
surprisingly, the fei xiang song was very good. aiya. crowd pleaser with all the funny actions.

the childhood lyrics part, i was very worried i would like trip n fall before standing up for my cue at the "saturday's child" part. michelle n i have bruises on our knees cos of the matthew, mark, luke n john song. we have to kneel for tht part. it was very awkward. haha. luckily i got gallop right!! finally n most importantly! ha! sing a song of six pence was very jovial.

for the last 2 songs, distant lant n the music's always there, i thought it was moving. i think i mr kwei almost cried. =S but they were very emotional, so ya. =') what a beautiful concert.

during the concert, there were some jokers who clapped at the wrong time la! it was rather annoying. oh well.

glenn admires adyll. haha. he likes his voice. (adyll sang solo for O Ina Ni Keke)

A BIG THANK YOU TO THE FOLLOWING PPLE.

my mom n dad, for supporting me even though they're not really the kind who listen to choral music.
my dearest peng yus: chew, quek, shoe, fann, emily, wingyan, chin, pepper, faith for buying the expensive $25 bucks tickets to come support us.
my other peng yus: weiteck, dennis, aloy, quiqun, liyan, andy, irvin, my juniors (zhengjun!!!erzi,tate,chengwei,glenn,fiona...) for coming watch the concert. and jeremy, chengying n marc, momo who couldnt make it but still gave their well wishes.
mr tohtoh who still continues to call me ah hui, for coming.
my wonderful section: huili(SL u rock!),huijun, michelle(huiwen),huiyin, sherlyn(sherlyn, u outcast la. all of us got hui in our name) for everything.
The Vocal Consort. everyone has been great. we're no long the SWCDC vocal consort. we're just The Vocal Consort now. =)
mr kwei, for supporting consort in so many ways.
everyone who went to the concert n God. =)

erm. thanks to huiyin, i'm now ru fei. =S sherlyn's bao chan. haha. my nu bi doesn't give me any respect lor. -__-

i shall stop here for now. lunch time is 1.5h from now. counting down. i'll post e pics asap.

AHN YEONG HI KAE SAE YO!

Blog song

Yui - Rolling star
Opening theme of bleach
------------------------------

夢にまで見たような世界で
争いもなく平和に暮らしたい

もう我慢ばっかしてらんないよ
言いたいことはいわなくっちゃ
帰り道夕暮れのバス停
落ち込んだ背中にBye Bye Bye

君のFighting Pose見せなきゃ

夢にまで見たような世界はKi
争いもなく平和な日常
でも現実は日々トラブって
たまに悔やんでる
そんなRolling Days

きっと嘘なんてそう
意味を持たないの
All my loving…
そうじゃなきゃやってらんない

夢にまで見たようなスイートクラブ
恋人達は隠れ家を探すの
でも現実はあえない日々が
続きながらも信じてるの Lonely Days

Oh yeah, yeah…
躓いたって Way to go
Yeah, yeah, yeah!
泥だらけのRolling Star

(did u understand tht? bet u didn't)

English
I want to live in my dream world,
A place where peace and quiet rule…

I’ve held my peace, but that time’s over.
I have to say what I want to say.
While waiting at the bus stop that’ll take me home,
The sun sets, taking my burdens with it.

Show me your fighting pose, come on.

I saw a new world in my waking dreams,
Where peace and quiet are the way of life.
But back in reality the world is cold and harsh,
I sin and regret it each and everyday.
That’s how the days roll along…

Everything feels like a lie.
Not a drop of meaning in it all.
All my loving…
It’s all I’ve got in this life.

My dream world is my little secret club,
I lock myself inside, but my friends lift me out of it.
Reality can’t be what I want it to be,
But I’ll keep believing, though the days are lonely.

Oh yeah, yeah
I stumble, but I pick myself up…
Yeah, yeah, yeah!
Stardust falls from a Rolling Star

i think the english translation is kinda weird... but the song is nice n i kinda get the jist of what it means. erm. i wish for world peace too! =)
you might realise the lyrics don't coincide with my blog song.... cos the blog song is the full track, the lyrics are the ones from the bleach opening. so yup. enjoy anyway.
stuck at bleach ep 110. the internet network is so slow!!! =(

i am.... HIRED!!!

haha! yes yes yes!!! it's true. today was my second day at work ok. working in an office now, so have to dress like a working lady. =) it's kinda strange cos i not really tht kinda person -> chic, sassy, sophisticated, glamourous yadda yadda yadda... i'm more like this kinda person ->clumsy,noisy,cheerful,easy distracted, blur, casual

anyway, it's been enjoyable. the first day, all i did was to read and read and read about the company. gaining background knowledge. i tell u, being stuck to that chair n having nth else to do but to real annual reports make me queasy and bored. i'll look around, stare outside the window, go to the toilet, doodle on my notebook after trying to concentrate on reading for a while. i do read, but what goes in is another matter. =P okok. i do remember basic facts but not the nitty-gritty details. the working environment is nice, people are really friendly =) i made friends! despite age difference and all (there are pple around the age group u know. erm 16-25?)

today, the morning was spent reading again and settling admin stuff. i've got a notebook and an account, and a temp pass! yay!!!
lunch was truly fun cos chenxi, shenyang n i talked about embarrasing, fun exciting stuff that happened to us. i mainly talked about sec school life n e crazy stuff we do in sec school. i realised how much i missed sec school life. all the fun stuff tht happened within those four years. i'm working while my friends are in school. it feels kinda weird. but even though we're all going our own ways, we still meet up now and then, and we're simple bonded by something special. special enough to keep us together despite our distance apart.
chenxi treated us to drinks cos he's got his pay. mine will be a long long way away.

after lunch, when i thought i would have to sit n read again, i finally got a task!!! yay!!! photocopy some papers and help arrange copies of folders n their documents for the press meeting which was later. wow. it was like everyone in the department was busy. it was exciting in a weird way cos everyone was at the tip of their toes, rushing here, rushing there to get 80 folders of documents ready by the conference. poor cheryl got a paper cut. she's really nice. she's helped me out alot cos i don't know so much. =)

i think i'm starting to get used to work. wake up early in the morning, paying adult transport fees (darn it), taking the train so often. yup. hopefully, tml will be an interesting day as well. =)

PS* before i end my post, Joanne wants me to credit her for buying the acrylic paints which i mentioned in the synopsis. "precious box of acrylics" yup. that one. chew, happy? i wrote bout u! =) the box of paints were my christmas present n she spent alot of money as well as time to get it. so thanks so so very much. i appreciate it alot. i can't bear to use it. ahah.

bleach has been on pause for today. but it SHALL CONTINUE SOON!!! muahahahaha.

NEW BLOGSKIN!

cheers to my completion of a new blogskin. =) just felt like making one. gng for my first day of my new job on wednessday. tml'll be my 2nd korean class. =)

i'm rushing to finish bleach before i get too busy. watched unti episode 90+today! =D
sadly, i only have until 102, so 103 onwards, i have to watch on youtube. alot of pple watch bleach too! suey, jarred, rache's cousin, junhao, momo... the list goes on. it's nice i tell you! =)

my mommy's peeping at what i'm writing. (o.O) i feel the pressure.

stopping here for today. oh yea!

quek n chew came to visit today. chew's so in love... the dude's hot though =P
i kinda like the whole trio meeting thing. they talked about their heavy workload, i listened cos i've got nth much to talk about since i've been mainly at home only, busy bleaching. (they're not the kind who are interested in bleach)

ok. really stopping here now, gonna continue bleaching. =D

BUSY BLEACHING!!!

sorry, haven't been updating my blog. been stuck on this japanese anime called "Bleach". it's really really really nice!!!! (even though rachel doesn't like it cos she says the main character - ichigo is annoying) quote: [Bleach follows the life of Ichigo Kurosaki, a 15-year-old high school student with the ability to see ghosts, and a shinigami (Soul Reaper or, literally, "death god") named Rukia Kuchiki, who crosses paths with him one day while searching for a hollow (an evil spirit). During the ensuing confrontation with the spirit, she is wounded and forced to transfer virtually all of her powers into Ichigo. Thus the adventures of Ichigo and Rukia begin. Together they search for hollows and perform soul burials on wayward souls, cleansing the spirits and sending them to Soul Society. The early parts of the story focus mainly on the characters and their past, rather than the actual occupation of the shinigami. However, as events unfold, the story begins to delve deeper into the world of these gods of death on the "other side" called Soul Society. ] unquote.

adapted from wikipedia.

go youtube to watch if u wanna know more. samantha's stuck on it too cos she came my house the other day to watch.

sam, cheryl n i went to mj on friday for fun to meet the mj pple and have lunch!!!
we met joel koh, our pri school classmate there. wahhh... n freddrick (i don't know how to spell his name) he was also our pri school classmate. both of them look very diff.. haha. boys to young men. =) i wonder if we looked very different to them too.

so.... cheng, cher, sam, em, lil, shoe, quek n i went to have lunch together at whitesands. then show had to go for soccer prac, n quek had to go for piano class, so disperese!!! we had alot of fun though. =)

i also wanna complain about sth!!! it's unfair that jc students have student consession whereas poly students cannot enjoy equal benefits of cheaper transport fees. within 2 days of taking bus n mrt, $4 is spent on simple trips, like from bedok to pasir ris. sadness. sam n i forgot to tap our cards for one of our bus rides and ended up paying $1.80 for tht trip. depressing!!!!! we couldn't help being used to not tapping when we had students consession. oh well. we wanna protest!!!!

on sat/yesterday, cheryl n i went for tp's beyond 'o' levels seminar together n explored a little of the openhouse. we also tasted tp's famous fish n chips. they're really good. =P mmm.

this weekend has been spent mostly with consort. we're working really hard for our concert next week to make it the best it can be. i'm certain we will do well. please come support us! there're still tickets available. =) book through sistic.

today, mr kwei praised the altos (it was like WOOWW to us cos he seldom praises the altos.) he said we were "remarkable". thank you huili (our sl), hui jun, michelle, hui yin n sherlyn. cos without u all, i would never experience being in such a wonderful section, be it sound/voice quality or being friendly/taking care of me. =)

well, i shall stop here for today. going to apply for a job again as usual, this time is different. i'll call the person in charge cos my uncle n aunt graciously arranged alot for me already.

take care peng. somewhow, i can't see ur pics. =( can u view e movie already?

back to bleaching!!! ja ne!!

first time for everything.

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TO F.O.C.I AND STUPID BOY!!! one day and one year older.

today was my first korean class!!! it was kinda fun. now i can read korean alphabets!! or aka hanja. it's kinda cool. it's like putting words together according to how they song. i think i am the youngest in the class, but it doesn't matter. our teacher mrs ahn's really cute. =)
although i can read words slowly now, i still dun understand what they mean. that will be soon... =)

in the afternoon, went to ah poo's house with a purpose to talk to peng online. however, she later msged to say tht internet connection was not established yet, so she couldn't go online. anyway, glad to hear that she's fine. ah poo introduced this new anime called "bleach" to me. it's kinda nice. stuck on it for now.

i'm gonna stop here and continue watching bleach. have fun in school people. i'm still jobless and busy being lazy.

wait.. an accomplishment for today:
i started clearing my room!!!!
OMG!!!! i know!!!! how amazing right?!?!?!
i too thought i would never start. oh well. now that i've started and it looks cleaner!!! (well... if u saw the corner that is cleared and not the rest of the room) ipah helped me alot. thanks ipah!!!

tml, i have to continue clearing my room, watch bleach and tml night i've got a date!!! =)
with my fair lady, the musical at the esplanade. yay! going with my family (the extended one for maternal side) it's my uncle's treat. cool man.

AHN YEONG HE KAE SAE YO!!!

much to ramble about.

hi!
it's been about a week since my sister left for virginia. she's going there for 6 months. awww. =( i'll miss her. but so far, life has been ok.

much has happened since 10/1/2007 (the date i had to say ahn yeong to my sister)

on 11/1

i went to kenny's to apply for the waitress job n meet sam. i was late!!! haha. watch tv until i didn't keep track of the time. at least i arrived. after applying and all, sam n i went to plaza sing to window shop. (she is a slacker. she works only half day and have many off days!!!)
thanks to samantha's wonderful directions, we had to take a very very very long route before finally reaching plaza sing. oh well, at least we had loads of fun. =)

fine... i also have a very bad sense of direction. i led us to the wrong mrt route. =P but we found out in time.

we laughed, and giggled, and laughed and laughed alot.
(pardon me for the limited words to describe our adventure. my memory is failing, i just remember that we did laugh alot.)
sammie was really sweet to be concerned about me getting e job at kennys. =) somehow, i still did not get any call up to date. =( but thanks girl!

on 12/1

it was a very very rainy day. and it was shoe's bday!!! =)
lilian, emily, fann, quek n i met up to give kahteck a bday surprise! (joanne was having rashes so she could not face the world then.)

once again, we didn't fail in making shoe cry. haha. it might sound saddistic, but it was tears of joy ok... =D we ate maggi, watched tv, talked, laughed and all the stuff we do.
fann had to leave first cos she had house prac.

then quek n i started to do crazy stuff again. some erm. crazy wu shu poses. (we embarrassed ourselves greatly cos shuning's sister n maid saw us. =S MALU!!!)
then we all sang songs, blending 4 different parts. it was just a chill out session, but it was so so so much fun. =) i miss them so so much. we agreed to meet up at least once a month, or more. yupyup. that's what friends are for.

13 & 14/1 weekends

my mommy n me had a goong marathon. we watched e whole goong series in 2 days. can u believe it? we're nuts. oh well. in a weird way, i think watching goong helped to bond with my mom. cos the show has some parts about family ties and all. at those parts, i would hug my mommy. =) and cos we stayed up till morning to watch. my mom made me a cup of warm milk before we went to sleep. =)

i felt like watching goong after hearing kim jeong hoon's songs, so i did. =)
there was this phrase in the show that i thought was really meaningful.
"There are different bonds among people in this world. Some you hold on to, some you let go. Some, you are destined not to have."
i guess it means that there's a time when u must learn to let go if it's not meant to be. i guess it's especially true. so now, i've finally learnt to treasure bonds, and to let go of some. that way, i'll live happily. =)

today, 15/1

i went to tutor gerald. came home, and read this article about poly students not regretting going to poly. there was also another article about stereotyping.

i think it's very true that many people stereotype poly students to be poorer students academically compared to JC students. some people even stereotype poly students to be bad company cos they're supposedly not smart enough to get in JC.

i feel very sad when people categorise us like that. me myself would like to go to a polytechnic instead of a junior college, and it's not because i cannot get into a jc. i can actually, i've scored below 20 for my L1R5. but i prefer poly courses cos they're more interesting and they're directly related to what you would do in life after graduating. poly is like a mini-university. the stuff they teach is also more out of textual books. u have to experience it yourself, and i think that way you can learn more.

besides, poly students can be equally or more successful in life compared to JC students. i have a cousin who went to ITE (many pple think ITE means it's the end of the road but tht is totally untrue), who later made it to poly, and finally went to NTU!!! mind u. NTU. it's a prestigious unniversity. he graduated form there and is doing really well now. i'm proud to know such a cousin. many other poly graduates have also succeeded in life. look at hady mirza, michelle chia, fiona xie (bet u didn't know they were from poly). they're all doing well aren't they?
i hope i can also prove using my life example. so i'll work hard in poly to prove my case!!!
currently cos i i'm not in jc for 1st 3 months, when people ask me, "so what jc are u in?" i would say "i wanna go poly", then they'll give me this... "Oooh...." look, as if i couldn't make it to JC... X( whatever. i'm praying hard i did well for my 'o's.

anyway, now i'm gonna watch the finals for so you think you can dance!!!! =) it's da bomb man! =D tml's my first korean class!!! i hope it goes well!!!

ahn yeong!!

(>____<)# Y&^%^&E&%*)&)($%&^*( oh ya... i was said twice that my blog isn't bead, it's just dusty. it can't be dead!!! if it were dead, i would be dead too since my blog's about my life. i'm not in any jc, not because i cannot but because i don't want to. so my personal status is = relaxing (not slacking. it's not slacking. but right now, i'm just darn frustrated. ok.. chilll chilllll..... hummmmmm...) i don't think it's a bad thing to not go to jc for first 3 months. it kinda gives u some time to enjoy life and live it slowly instead of rushing here and there singaporean style. life is not slow till it breeds flies, nor is it slow to the extent i'm living like a country bumpkin, sitting and staring at the sheep and cows, bleeting and mooing while gnawing on grass patches in green fields outside my house. NOPE. it ain't like that. actually, i kinda have load of stuff to do. here's the list:

Stuff Roo Has to Do (3rd time writing this list)
1. edit uncle thomas's friend's wedding pics
2. peng's farewell present
3. sign up for language course
4. get a job
5. clear up my messy room
6. exercise to lose that flab
7. presents!!!
8. memorise consort's reportoire.
9. collect eagles award (i feel so honoured. usually i get only good progress which is not even very common)

yup. so i'm not slacking. ok... i've cooled down quite alot. listening to the my girl soundtrack now. haha. music soothes me.. moving on...

i see my busy friends, adjusting to fit the reality of jc life after the one week of fun-packed orientation activities. (orientations are a disguise to make jc look really good/fun whatever.. IT'S PROPOGANDA!!! fine... so i'm sour graping.. at least they have fun for a week) it's kinda like drinking beer and getting drunk isn't it? you drink, then u drink more, get drunk and get really high, happy, care-free and all. then.... deng deng deng deng.... you get hung over. haha. awww. the nasty. (i haven't gotten drunk before, but being a tv addict, i've watched enough shows to know)
me on the otherhand, am taking things slow, living one day at a time (literally.) it kinda feels weird cos it's like the whole world's back in school/work, when ur at home. kinda like u take mc for 2 months like that. it also tend to get lonely. in 2(rather 1 now) days time, my sister will be leaving for virginia for 6 months. =( 6 months without peng. and with all my friends in school and busy, my parents working day to night. yup, it's gonna be one lonely time. oh well. what to do? life gives, u take. u can't do anything about it, just enjoy it?

event of the day:
quek n chew came over!!! yay! reunion of the trio. we did what we always do..
yak, chill, exchange life tales, they make fun of me (as usual), we laugh at quek's facial expressions/ or is it her face??? (typical), we eat food from my food-store of a house to accomodate to chew's monsterous blackhole stomach (never changing), hugged before parting (tradition). =) i love my best friends. it's a good thing we all live so near each other. we can practically walk to each others' houses la (depends on how fast u walk, we can reach in abou 15 mins) actually, u can walk to anywhere in the world, it's only a matter of time. =)

chew bought me some pink cat shapped cookies when she came over. i am e one n only fatcat after all. if i'm fatcat, chew should be black hole or sth. (nicknames according to our appetite)
when i was walking chew home today, we managed to be in time for the sunset..

roo: actually, i like sunsets more than sunrises
chew: really? why?
roo: cos sunsets are more colourful and are prettier
chew laughs or scoffs
chew: that's a really shallow answer.

well, i guess it's pretty shallow to what most pple might say.. my answer is non philosophical, but plainly what i think la... here goes.

i like sunsets because they can be caught at more convenient time slots compared to sunrises. at least u dont have to wake up in the wee hours of a day and bear heavy eyebags for the rest of the day. i like sunsets cos i think they are more colourful than sunrises. sunsets have pink, purple, orange, purple, blue, grey and yellows in them. =) hence they are pretty! (i don't exactly recall seeing a sunrise actually... maybe i have but i think sunrises are less colourful right? every morning on the way to school, the sky doesn't seem that colourful)
i like sunsets cos quote" they seem like a perfect ending to a wonderful day and reminds me of the beginning of a new one" unquote. erm. kinda la.... it gives me a sense of satisfaction and reminds me i lived through another day and am lucky enough to still be alive. =)
sensets also remind me that the day is turning into night meaning tv time!!! =) and also BEDTIME!!!! comfy jammies n cosy bed, drifting into dream land. gahaha

ok... there's more to sunsets too la... it also makes me feel homely cos it reminds me that night is approaching and it's time to go home. it also reminds me of dorea cos last time, she used to go home at sunset almost everyday cos then, after school, she'd come to my house or i'd go to hers and we'll start walking home at sunset. yup. wonderful memories. i love the air in the evening too. cool and calm.

chew: well, at least it shows your true. =)

so next time when you are looking at the sunset, remember to think of what it reminds you of and enjoy that short moment. =)

ps*i'm going to take up korean language in a language school! =) and i think kim jeong hoon's voice is really nice. listening to his songs now. =) night.

accounting for blog song

guess who sang it..

none other than lee jun ki!!!! his voice is so nice. =)
sigh. here's the really touching lyrics. read them and you'll understand what i mean. i cried when i heard the song and read the lyrics. (well, i cried inside la... my tear source has malfunctioned)

Lee Jun Ki - One Word

Just one word, 'I love you...'
Just one word...

[verse I]
The wind that brushes through you, brushes through me.
The sunlight that shines on me, shines on you.
You and I, in the same world, live in a different world.
I miss you so much, my heart hurts.
Without you, I'm pathetic.
The yearning I feel after waking up is like a flood after the rain.
I'm searching for you crazily.

[chorus]
Just one word, 'I love you'
Just one word, 'Come back'
The tears flow before I can speak, the words filled up my heart
I failed to catch you before I could just say one word.

[verse II]
The love that's bursting... there's no place to hide it anymore.
Farewell is lazy, sending you away from me,
Because it's always delayed until tomorrow.
Although my clock stops and I know you’re drifting farther away, I still wait.

[chorus]
Just one word, 'I love you'.
Just one word, 'Come back'.
The tears flow before I can speak, the words filled up my heart
I failed to catch you before I could just say one word.

[bridge]
The one thing that hurts more than being unable to say that one word,
is the fact that I never got to hear what I wanted from you.

Just one word telling me you loved me.
Just one word telling you were happy.
Regret and my lingering attachment is still here.
How could I forget you... even if you forgot me?

oddly attracted. 이준기

OH NO!!!!! somehow and i don't know how, i think i have a crush on lee jun ki... oh man... talk about unlikeliness.

the guy looks like a girl the oddest thing is i think i started crushing on him like after watching the king and the clown movie where he acted really feminine and all. does this mean......

I'M LESBIAN?!?!?!?!?! (O.O)

* faints *

haha... no la... i'm not ok. not not not not.
the guy has proven to look good as both girl AND GUY! besides, i think he's really charming as Seo Jeong Woo in My girl! (for pple who have not watched 'my girl' go brighten up your life and watch it on youtube or sth. it's really funny no kidding.)

i've got so much going on in my life. yet to blog about the sleep over on 29-12-2006, yet to blog about the zoo outing on 2-1-2007. but here i am, blogging about lee jun ki. my dear friends, let me assure u i love u loads so don't kill me. u all mean more to me than a crush but just needed to type this out. =P sorry....

today/yesterday, sam n i went out in pursue of a job. fyi school starts already but cos i'm not gng to jc for first 3 months, i am free and looking for a job. =) applied for haagen-daz at the esplanade. dunno if they'll accept me. back to the point.

we started talking about the kind of guys we like.
hmmmm...
i like guys with sharp nice noses... =) [it's a pattern i tell u. see similarities with lee junki, lee dong wook, kim jeong hoon bla bla bla]

i also like guys with nice eyes =) nice eyes does not mean big eyes, but just nice eyes. i can't describe it in words cos i do not have an exact example to state but just eyes that some how look attractive.

lee jun ki, lee jun ki.... i really dunno why i think you're cute. i mean you are.... and soooooooo many girls would die to be your girlfriend but i didn't think i'd be one of those girls. it's just weird.

oh dear.
but i found out some stuff about him that makes me like him even more. =)
well, he's 1.78! that's like really tall! =)
he's a christian which is really cool cos i thought he was since he wears those cross earrings but my sister siad that doesn't mean that only christians wear cross earrings which is true.
he's a really sweet guy. =)
evidence: his cross earrings are actually the pendants of his deceased grandmother's necklace. he made them into earrings when his grandmother passed away so he could and would wear them forever. family man. i like.... =)
he likes girls who smile!!!! (which means i stand a chance cos i like to smile. =) smile smile smile =)... WHAT?!?!? a girl has to dream u know....)

anyway, he seems like a really humble person the way he smiles so much even when he's tired and all at press conferences and what ever not. he's also really sweet cos when he blogs, he'll start his posts with

Hello everyone, I'm Jun Ki!!

and end with

Ps* I love you all.... I love you all.... I love you all....

aww..

well, he's proven to be manlier than many other men being well versed in tae kwon do, hapkido and taekkyeon.he can do 50 or more push ups at one go ok!!! don't play play. he's smart too being able to speak in 4 languages: korean, english, japanese and chinese! even i got problems speaking in mandrin. =S shame is me.

lee jun ki, thou i don't want to admit it, you're really cute and charming and sweet. i love your smile! =) and..... erm... i'm now a jun ki fan.
