This Warm Fuzzy Feeling

You'll get why i title this post as such by the time you finish reading this post. =)
this is a compilation of what i did for lunar new year.
it's a pictorial, but i'll narrate a little along the way. enjoy!
FIRST DAY
my sister took this when i was doing a crab dance. haha. that's what i wore!
i love my family. =) i love it when we bainian to my parents every year, early in the morning. we have to kneel, then we'll exchange 4-word-chinese-new-year-phrases as well as hugs and love. it's this time of the year that my parents tell me how much they love me. fuzzy.
this is my super tall cousin. we took this before playing blackjack. can u tell we're excited?!?! =)
i won a little little bit! =) WOW
SECOND DAY
peng looks like a mafia boss. or some rich taitai, wife of a mafia boss. LOL. i'm her lowly servent. =( look. my dress is so raggy-ish and holy i have to use scotchtape to tape it together.
UNGLAM!!
These clouds make me go wow.
THIRD DAY
EATING STEAMBOAT!!!! fann, mamalee, chew n i walked around bugis area, and finally settled with a nice steamboat dinner! JIAK! we chose tomyum and paigu soup. the tomyum burnt my tongue, but it was so darn shiok. i sound sadistic. lol
Chew and i found a leaf shaped like a heart on the floor! pretty right? love feat.
ok... prepare yourself for unglam and random shots. =)
us posing beside tiff & co stuff cos we can't afford them
burgling into raffles hotel! omg. look at the interior. i think the manager saw our heads bobbing up and down.
taking random and takglam pictures along the road for everyone to see. no shame. lol. i almost got knocked down by a car while crossing the road cos SMSing!
ohoh! here! the pictures u are about to see are evidence of our deviant acts. after taking these, we were shouted at by some random police guy. we ran like crazy. chew was seriously freaked, fann kept apologising. LOL
ending the night by taking pics at the bridge linking vch to fullerton. that place is just gorgeous at night. =) we saw couples shamelessly making out in public. so we pretended to act lesbian.
then i had to rush home cos of my 12 o' clock curfew. cinderella is me. we cabbed in the end. haha! and i reached home just in time! 12.00 on the dot! the carriage turned into a pumpkin then.
FORTH DAY
for more information of the sequence of events for the day, pls visit http://so-zat.blogspot.com

kok and papaya look so spas in this pic. omg. fartfaces. my class is full of them.

i love these crazy pple. =)

do u understand why i feel fuzzy? i know u do.

happy new year everyone! may u xin xiang shi cheng, and ruyi jix!

It's hard bottling everything up

ok. this is so contrasting to the festive season mood, and sorry i'm being a spoiler if u read this.

this is a warning. if u do not want to read upsetting thoughts, please stay away. stop reading. now. now now... I MEAN IT. NOW. this is your final warning. stop reading!!!

i don't know what's gotten into me. maybe cos i'm ovulating. i feel so a whole palette of emotions crashing down on me. it's as if i have split personality. my mood swings by faster than u can say boomerang.

hmm. i'm bothered by love stuff. odd right? i've not really been bothered by those sort of feelings for a long time. but recently, it seems the lock that bolted the doors of my heart have been broken. in otherwords, my heart has been broken into. i can't tell if it's for worse or for the better. but i know that now, it just makes me feel queasy and uneasy. plainly because i don't dare to accept this sort of feelings again.

i don't wanna get hurt again.

do u get it.

u don't.

none of u do.

dumbos.

i feel so dumb. i just dunno why i can't let go. i keep holding on to that little piece left. it's already gone. but i keep the broken charded glass pieces. i've been telling everyone, deceiving even myself that i've moved on, thrown the remaining bits out. but i've been living a lie. such a huge lie that it take more than throwing out the pieces of glass to clear the mess. you see. a piece got into my eye. i know u don't understand what i'm talking about. but it's better that way. let['s keep it that way too.

i like talking in riddles. and that my blog's kinda deserted so the less people know the better.

this is embarrassing. i'm pouring out my feelings onto a virtual diary. it's so contradictary it's satisfying.

i really wanna move on you know. i have to clear this up myself.

i'm scared to accept something new. anyway, i'm not even certain of it.

either way, i'm afraid. and i'm cowardly. i don't dare.

it's hard. i wanna grow stronger. i know i am. because i don't cry as easily. although i might cry inside, i don't cry physically.

u dun even know half of it. how long i've been hanging on the edge of the clift like this.

i am fearful.. i don't really know how i feel.

i don't know anything.

i'll leave it here

but for now, i feel like i'm still stuck in a cold dark room, but i see a glimpse of light.

yet i don't dare approach it,

because i don't want to be blinded by it.

past,present,future

i'm striving to be a novelist someday. HAHA. for the fun of it.

i realised that so many people in my life have changed so much within these few years. change is good, but it's freaky too. i guess i'm still clinging on really close to the past and what's left of it

miss roo is holding on to the past, concerned and living in the present, and dreaming of the future.

now to truly start work. hope peng's doing fine in dubai.

More-than-a-million Coloured Sunset

It was one of the most beautiful sights to have witnessed. The Artist was painting profusely on his blank empty canvas that stretched across a million stars. He dabbed and mixed, dabbed and mixed. There were fierce strokes, mild blotches, gentle curves and even swrils that would stir up the emotions deep down within you. I could not count the number of colours that appeared on that single block of canvas. There were at least a million. No. Plenty more than a million colours; they integrated with each other, some more outstanding than others. Nevertheless, all were beautiful. The combination was just divine.

The Artist started picking up his pace. He had a time schedule to meet. This piece of art has to be done by 7pm. Despite being weary and exhausted for painting numberous times in the day, he still gave it His best shot, nothing less than that. For He did not want to disappoint those who appreciated His artworks, and even those people who will not seem to notice or care. It didn't matter to Him. They were equally important.

Watching Him paint that nothing short of gorgeous portrait was just breathtaking. Bruised and battered I was, yet, the pain faded away instantly. Just like how paint would dissolve into the to-be-disposed-off murky paintwater everytime He cleansed His paintbrush. It filled my heart with all good feelings, namely hope, faith, trust and love. It made me feel truly deeply madly loved. It told me that there is always someone who loves you a great deal walking right beside you. I was fortunate enough to capture a mental image of the final masterpiece. And now, I share it with you.
