WOW. i've got stuff for almost everyday of the week. this is quite cool. so instead of rotting at home, i'm hopping someplace else. the past few days have been fun. dates dates and more dates to come.

hence, miss roo's status is currently BUSY. But this girl's got a curfew that's an hour before cinderella's. i should be called roo-ella. but tht sounds like cruella so forget tht.

shop and splurge even more

shop shop shop and more shopping. chew and i went to vivo and left for home with empty pockets, bags of clothes and filled tummies.

we went to almost everyshop (seriously), this includes entering forever 21 at least 4 times. we settled for dinner at breeks cafe. yum!

actually, the 2 m&s tops came together, but i refuse to acknowledge them as 1 piece. they're 2 seperate pieces!!!! i shan't say how much we spent, but it's more than the blue yusof ishak note. BLARGH. it's called retail theraphy. i think i'm staying at home for the next week. or else, i'll bring around cup noodles everywhere i go so i won't spend money on food.

my last buy at m&s made me feel like crying. let me recall our conversation in the changing room.

roo: ahh!!! this is so cute. but it's freakin $xx!!! i ain't got enough money!!!
BOOHOO.

chew: shite. i like this top too but it's freakin $xx too. can you open your door?

*chew bangs my changing room door, roo opens the door before she breaks it down*

roo: leave me alone. i need more time with my top. i might never see it again. BOOHOO

chew: is it nice? OH NO. i can't keep spending. this is so bad.

roo: i got no money.

chew: should i get it? actually, it looks quite ah ma-like right?

roo: why so expensive. =(

chew: ya. i think it does. ok. i think maybe i'll just get the other top.

roo: if u get that top, i'll get this top for sure.

chew: har. but it's so ex.

roo: i am depressed. shoo! leave my house. i'm staying here forever with my top. this shall be my new room.

chew: if i were you, i'd be in a delimia too.

roo: why kids clothes so expensive? crazy.

chew: it's a very cute top! just buy la. u'll look cute forever.

roo: HAR... i'm so broke.

finally, we got to make payment. i really felt like crying when i parted with my money. bye bye money. you sure flew away fast. the cashier was laughing cos she was also the changing-room person. so she heard our conversation.

but i love it. it's so cute. =) btw, u did not read wrong. i got this from the kids section. LOL

MONDAY 110308 i went out with quek, quek and sister quek's friend lynette who is apparently lynol's sister. we went shopping. i was actually leading the way. can u believe it? THE DIRECTION IDIOT GIVING DIRECTIONS. LOL. the thing is, i was the least direction idiotic amongst the 4 of us. we managed to get the far east anyway.

quek and i splurged on pretty dresstops. ouch. don't talk about the price. speaking of which. i'm getting girlier by the day. i'm actually wearing and buying dresses. can u believe it. sounds impossible but impossible's nothing. but of course, shorts and pants are always the preference.

i finally got to meet cho too. =) he really is a gentleman and a really nice guy who's kinda cute. no wonder.

the night part was more exciting. cos it was deb's bday. she kinda wanted a surprise party but was upset she didn't receive one, so we did a last min thing.

quek gathered her church friends and pple who lived close to the area. so we sorta just met up (some walked, some cycled, some cabbed, some got their parents to fetch them) at night. mo,marc,chew,me,jojo,david,jon cho,nicky,elizabeth,han solo(i don't know his real name) n quek. =) it was real fun. she was moved to tears. at first we kinda freaked out cos she was crying so bad. later, chew, mo n i decided to 'celebrate marc's belated bday'.

*note to self: dorea sucks at planning surprises.

while she was supposed to distract marc n keep him entertained, chew, mo n i ran to 7/11 to get a tub of ben n jerry's icecream. we bought a lolly n balloons to top it off. and guess what, marc came to find us. so chew n i had to act all suspicious like, as though we were stealing sth. while he n mo walked ahead of us, chew n i started pumping 'balloons tht looked like marc' (mainly cos they're lanky)and stringing them in some sort of a chain thing tht we eventually used to put around his neck. the ice cream melted into a chunk of slop by the time he actually saw it and the lolly landed with a splat on the newspaper when marc tried to remove it from the melting goo. (we stuck the lolly; stick-in, into the ice cream) so much for bday. lol. but he thanked us.

it was good for us to meet again. i've not met marc in ages.

the rest of the night was spent playing taboo. david and jojo are seriously hilarious. more pics taken at the bustop before leaving for home.

movie marathon with momma hen, wingyan, mamalee, chew n quek. LOL.
guess what we watched first.
anastasia! lol. what can i say. we're still girls at heart. =) chew's nuts over dimitri. has been, is still, will likely be. then we watched hairspray and we tried doing the dance. how'd they do the mash potato so nicely. anyway, i missed pepper so much. the last time we went to her house was when again? sec 2? it was nice to know everything's still the same. =)

chew n i then left for parkway. we went to get some stationary first. i'm so happy i finally bought black permanent markers! (it sounds insane. i know) i also slurged on some sketch markers. =) YAY. finally. if i could i wanna buy more colours cos i got pathetically few. but tht's a start. this is another reason to save up.

*note-to-self: save money to buy sketch markers and maybe paint brushes too!

we started eating and eating and eating. killiney -> crystal jade (i'm not tht rich. i ate the har chiong kai only. lol) -> moss burger. i love to eat. it makes me feel happy and warm. we talked plenty. tht's why chew's my bestfriend. just like how quek's my bestfriend too. i felt fuzzy.

today was really rainy. and results day. i did nothing much today. sit, watch tv and sleep! yup. sleep!! rainy days are the best time to sleep. don't u think. ei. i did ok for exams. i am CONSISTENT. woo. "consistently bad" - quote my mom. whatever. lol. i told her to stop comparing my grades with my Os, compare them with my sec sch report bk instead. u'd realise i actually improved. LOL.

i saw orion's belt today =) it made me feel warm and fuzzy inside.

i'm officially addicted to switchfoot's awakening. it's good music.

I am a very random person so i like to post randomly too. =) it's my hols! yay. i've been kinda bored to pieces.
it's hard to keep me entertained for long cos i have a short concentration span. luckily for me, i have adapted the art of self-entertainment. this would highly likely explain my friends. WACKED.

we had lunch at...
OMG. i forgot where. i think i'm getting senile.

nevermind. we did have lunch around parkway area after we saw tht katong settlers closed down. then papaya, ahjuma n i left. i left to 'meet ngohiang'
actually. what we did was... papaya went for tuition - like she said, ahjuma n i went to marina to buy *ehem* for *ehem*.

Meet my oreo boy. =) he looks like ng pupu!!! LOL. i wanted to kiss him. AHJUMA! SEE!!! YOU ARE NOT ALONE WITH YOUR TRIPPLE B.

Later, ahjuma left for her chingay thang when i met up with the rest of the class at clark quay for dinner!!!

ahrong turned 18 overnight but he didn't seem a day older than 14.

This picture is what i call:
HongKong Dai Lou (mafia boss), emo kia (wannabe), and AHJUMA STOP TRYING TO ACT COOL.

we watched 881 which papaya herself didn't get. dumb. cos it was mostly in hokkien.

the only part she got was when they were chanting 88 yo ah yo ah yo. she was cheering for herself. dumber

ahjuma and i kept singing aloud hokkien guas to irritate papaya. she wanted to choke ahjuma cos ahjuma was screeching. LOL.

then i left for MJ'S dance concert in vth - victoria theatre hall.

the dance concert was really good. so proud of michelle, shaz and amanda! they danced beautifully. i loved the contemporary dance when they used the song hide and seek. told u it's a nice song. trademark from nyp had a guest performance as well!!

OMG. it was like woah.

this is our rockin superstar shaz.

more interesting things happened that night.

some girl apparently insulted our dear chincess. so fann, chew, em, my new friend maziah, and i formed an alliance to attempt to do sth to the girl.

after much deliberation and plotting.. (we thought of all sorts; poking her eyes, stuffing a toe up her nose, pretending to smell her while walking past and give a distored face that say 'PHEW... WHAT IN THE WORLD IS THAT SHITE SMELL')

we settled for doing minor things cos there were too many pple around to witness our crime. we resorted to having throw plant fertiser (u know those small brown balls that u see inside plant pots) at her hair. fann threw, maziah tried. chew n i had none. but i wanted to walk past her and sneeze in her hair or if possible, spit in it. but someone held be back before i could even do anything. bah.

i'm still disappointed i didn't at least leave some snot on her hair. oh well.

29 MARCH 2008 - LEAP YEAR

i was kinda bored and alone at home and i didn't wanna spend such a special day so sadly so i met up with my 2 bestfriends-idiots. =)

we went to the park at coldstream ave to spend the day.

MEET MY SECOND OREO BOY.

his name is timothy and he has a tiny turtle keychain he calls mrs poussac.

he gave me oreos to eat! =) i love him already.

the playground had some politics gng on. we turned it into some fairy tale with prince aladdin, princess jasmine and the big fat rajah. it was so nonsensical it was fun.

if quek FINALLY POSTED A POST ON HER BLOG, it would be about the story. LOL.

anyway, we went over to the fitness corner to do crazy things including, pretending to be bats!

pls ignore the fats and the flab. BAH. i'm not made of fully fats, i have muscles too. seeing things upside down. =)

later we tried piggybacking each other. some successful, some. erm. lets just say ended on the floor. it was super fun.
