my hols have been pretty cool. i thought i'd be majorly pigging out but i'm not. cancel the majorly. i do pig out. haha.

MONDAY 110308 i went out with quek, quek and sister quek's friend lynette who is apparently lynol's sister. we went shopping. i was actually leading the way. can u believe it? THE DIRECTION IDIOT GIVING DIRECTIONS. LOL. the thing is, i was the least direction idiotic amongst the 4 of us. we managed to get the far east anyway.

quek and i splurged on pretty dresstops. ouch. don't talk about the price. speaking of which. i'm getting girlier by the day. i'm actually wearing and buying dresses. can u believe it. sounds impossible but impossible's nothing. but of course, shorts and pants are always the preference.

i finally got to meet cho too. =) he really is a gentleman and a really nice guy who's kinda cute. no wonder.

the night part was more exciting. cos it was deb's bday. she kinda wanted a surprise party but was upset she didn't receive one, so we did a last min thing.

quek gathered her church friends and pple who lived close to the area. so we sorta just met up (some walked, some cycled, some cabbed, some got their parents to fetch them) at night. mo,marc,chew,me,jojo,david,jon cho,nicky,elizabeth,han solo(i don't know his real name) n quek. =) it was real fun. she was moved to tears. at first we kinda freaked out cos she was crying so bad. later, chew, mo n i decided to 'celebrate marc's belated bday'.

*note to self: dorea sucks at planning surprises.

while she was supposed to distract marc n keep him entertained, chew, mo n i ran to 7/11 to get a tub of ben n jerry's icecream. we bought a lolly n balloons to top it off. and guess what, marc came to find us. so chew n i had to act all suspicious like, as though we were stealing sth. while he n mo walked ahead of us, chew n i started pumping 'balloons tht looked like marc' (mainly cos they're lanky)and stringing them in some sort of a chain thing tht we eventually used to put around his neck. the ice cream melted into a chunk of slop by the time he actually saw it and the lolly landed with a splat on the newspaper when marc tried to remove it from the melting goo. (we stuck the lolly; stick-in, into the ice cream) so much for bday. lol. but he thanked us.

it was good for us to meet again. i've not met marc in ages.

the rest of the night was spent playing taboo. david and jojo are seriously hilarious. more pics taken at the bustop before leaving for home.

TUESDAY 120308
movie marathon with momma hen, wingyan, mamalee, chew n quek. LOL.
guess what we watched first.
anastasia! lol. what can i say. we're still girls at heart. =) chew's nuts over dimitri. has been, is still, will likely be. then we watched hairspray and we tried doing the dance. how'd they do the mash potato so nicely. anyway, i missed pepper so much. the last time we went to her house was when again? sec 2? it was nice to know everything's still the same. =)

chew n i then left for parkway. we went to get some stationary first. i'm so happy i finally bought black permanent markers! (it sounds insane. i know) i also slurged on some sketch markers. =) YAY. finally. if i could i wanna buy more colours cos i got pathetically few. but tht's a start. this is another reason to save up.

*note-to-self: save money to buy sketch markers and maybe paint brushes too!

we started eating and eating and eating. killiney -> crystal jade (i'm not tht rich. i ate the har chiong kai only. lol) -> moss burger. i love to eat. it makes me feel happy and warm. we talked plenty. tht's why chew's my bestfriend. just like how quek's my bestfriend too. i felt fuzzy.

WEDNESDAY 120308
today was really rainy. and results day. i did nothing much today. sit, watch tv and sleep! yup. sleep!! rainy days are the best time to sleep. don't u think. ei. i did ok for exams. i am CONSISTENT. woo. "consistently bad" - quote my mom. whatever. lol. i told her to stop comparing my grades with my Os, compare them with my sec sch report bk instead. u'd realise i actually improved. LOL.

i saw orion's belt today =) it made me feel warm and fuzzy inside.

i'm officially addicted to switchfoot's awakening. it's good music.
